Our Process

Our Process

STEP 1.

Assessment

Receive a comprehensive assessment that focuses on your pain, movement patterns, and compensations.  This is an important step to receiving treatment during your first visit.

STEP 2.

Get a Customized Treatment Plan

We are goal-oriented meaning we will discuss your desired goals from care at our office. We will place you in a specific phase of care based on your symptoms during your first visit.

We focus on 3 phases of care: Pain Relief Phase, Return to Activity Phase, and Performance Phase.

STEP 3.

Pain Relief Phase

Pain is usually the driving force for someone to schedule an appointment. For this reason, visits may be more frequent at the beginning to help alleviate pain and discomfort as quickly as possible.

Chiropractic adjustments, muscle work, and other therapies may be used initially to help get your symptoms under control.

STEP 4.

Return to Activity Phase

Whether you are returning to work, sport, or life we want you to be able to do so pain-free and with confidence.

This phase often requires a lower frequency of visits, but it is an important phase to reinforce all the work put in during the acute phase of your injury. During this phase, we start to introduce rehab exercises and movement modifications.

STEP 3.

Performance Phase

Think of this phase as the fine-tuning and maintenance phase.  We want to keep the forward progress moving in the right direction.  If progress plateaus we risk returning to the acute phase sooner than desired.

This phase is to help you become stronger, faster, and smarter with custom-made home exercise programs, occasional adjustments, and maintenance muscle work.

Your First Appointment

We are in-network with most major medical insurance plans. We accept HSA and Flexible Spending Accounts.

Treatment is usually performed during your first visit to the office. Imaging or other tests are only performed if red flags are present.

Conditions are often resolved in 8-10 visits.

Please allow up to 45 minutes for your initial visit. Wearing athletic clothing that allows you to move, walk, and squat comfortably is important.

Stories of Transformation

As an athlete, coach, and entrepreneur, I spend a lot of time moving around. While I am pretty good at working out the occasional aches and pains associated with an active lifestyle by myself, I still see Dr. Brennan once a week to get adjusted and get his professional opinion. We all need help in life and he’s been my go to whether it’s just routine maintenance or help with more severe injuries. Thanks Doc.  Here’s to many more years of setting personal bests in both the gym and the professional world.

Ken W.
Crossfit Athlete and Business Owner

As a dancer/choreographer for the vast majority of my life, I just assumed I’d always be in some kind of pain. That it’s just the price you pay as an athlete. Dr. Brennan has completely changed my life! I now know that it is possible to live a physically active life without constant pain! A true blessing!

Dr. Brennan is amazing! My first time to a chiropractor ever, and now I am hooked. He has sorted my back out when it flared up, and has been working in a complementary fashion with my physical therapist as I get my knee back to full order to start scaling mountains again. I cannot recommend him, or his office, with any greater enthusiasm.  The office is bright, inviting, and the staff at the counter are first-rate in customer service and overall friendliness.
